Critique Groups – the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
The good – when a writer gets meaningful feedback. The bad – when a writer is led astray by well-meaning critique partners. The ugly – when a group simply doesn’t work for you. Sharon shares her twenty-years of experience with critique groups: guidelines for forming a critique group, etiquette for giving and receiving critique, bowing out of a group that isn’t right for you, and coping strategies when you’re the one who’s been voted off the island.
This is a one-hour workshop with time for questions and discussion.
